Location, Location, Location. Plus ocean views! This delightful 3 bedroom 3 bath, 2000 sq ft home is in a prime location within 5 minutes of Shoreline Drive & Leadbetter beach. The front deck has breathtaking views of the Ocean. The master suite shares the ocean view and also has a fireplace and double Jacuzzi tub. This Mesa home is very light and bright and exudes character and charm inside and out.
On the front deck, you can relax to the sound of the fountain that invites you to sit peacefully and enjoy the ocean scenery while you have your breakfast. In back is a pond with waterfall, hot tub, and of course a barbecue and two spaces you can eat and enjoy the mild Santa Barbara evenings. The backyard also includes a secret garden, lush with vegetation, a fountain and a stone Buddha where you can feel completely away from it all.
Inside, the living room and dining room also have full ocean views. The living room has a fireplace and a slider opening onto the deck. The kitchen is a cook’s delight featuring a period gas stove. Both the kitchen and dining room are spacious, while the family room provides extra space for relaxing or entertaining with a fireplace and a 65” TV. The fireplace in the master suite is double-sided, so enjoy it from the bedroom or while soaking in the Jacuzzi. You can dim the chandelier, have a beverage and enjoy the glow of the fireplace while pampering yourself in a tub of soothing bubbles! Additionally the bathroom features a bidet.
This house is ideal for vacationers who love the beach, walking, grilling or simply relaxing. It’s bright and open yet has plenty of space to curl up to read a book. We would love to welcome you to this cozy, cheerful home on Santa Barbara’s Mesa.
The house is minutes from two beaches: Leadbetter Beach is within walking distance (about ¾ mile). This beach is one of the best beaches for swimming, surfing and family fun in Santa Barbara. It is just West of the Santa Barbara Marina and is lined with a grassy picnic area with numerous barbecue pits — an ideal place to hold a summer beach picnic. To the west is Arroyo Burro Beach (the locals call it Hendry’s). Hendry’s is a great family beach and place to take a walk.
If you need a little extra room, the back yard has a small one-room cottage that can be used as a retreat from the main house. It’s furnished with a convertible sofa and writing desk (no closet). The cottage is included for an additional $50/nt, $200/wk.
