The family and media room are a cozy spot to play board games overlooking the ocean, or watch movies on a system designed by Chris Pelonis of Sony Studios on a 70” screen. DVD player, cable and Apple TV are available for your use.
There are 2 other televisions in the house. 1 in the master bedroom, and one in the living room. Both are 32” flat screens with cable and Apple TV.
The house has a Sonos sound system thoughout to enjoy your tunes when you get tired of listening to the ocean.

The fisherman’s market is within walking distance and Lazy Acres, a well stocked specialty market is within 4 minutes by car.

Situated high on a hill with spectacular 180-degree views of both the mountains and ocean, our Arcady Escape is located in Montecito, the popular Santa Barbara enclave chosen by many celebrities as their home away from home. Though you will find it behind the private gates of “Arcady”, which was once part of the lovely historical estate of George Owen Knapp, our property is just 5 minutes away from gorgeous Butterfly Beach in front of the Biltmore Four Seasons, as well as Lower Village, Upper Village, and a multitude of popular trailheads into the surrounding foothills.
Our house is divided into two floors. Upstairs you will find 3 ample bedrooms: a master king suite with a balcony, spacious rain shower, and separate oversized tub with a view of the mountains; a queen-size bedroom with peaceful treetop and ocean views; and a second queen-size bedroom with cozy window seat overlooking the beautiful garden. Downstairs, enjoy the quiet of our study (with fireplace) that exits out onto a floral patio and stone terrace. In addition to the master bathroom, there are two other full baths throughout the property and a well-appointed kitchen with limestone counter tops, Spanish tile floors, and Viking/ Kitchen Aide/ Bosch appliances.
There are numerous French doors that open out onto our expansive deck and terraces, ideal for entertaining, BBQs, or enjoying our breathtaking views – perfect for watching the sunrise. If it’s chilly, gather by outdoor chimney or cuddle on the sofa in front of the living room fireplace with a good book.

Bedroom 3: This Queen-sized bedroom overlooks the beautiful patio and garden on one side, the ocean off the French doors. A cozy window seat heaped with pillows and with huge mountain views is a favorite reading spot. Ample closet, 47′ flat screen and queen futon in addition to the queen bed make this a good place to get away.

The Master bath offers oversized tub, walk in shower, double sinks in white marble, large walk in lady’s closet. Bathroom #2: it opens from Bedroom #2 and has a walk in shower.
