Welcome to Downtown Dollhouse! It is a true architectural gem, built in 1905 to house Santa Barbara's longshoreman and then was fully renovated in 2015.
This home is a beautiful, charming, fully furnished vacation home snuggled in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. This craftsman-style property is two-story and features a primary house with two bedrooms upstairs and one bath downstairs, as well as a Casita located in the property's backyard with an additional bedroom and bathroom.
Inside, this fairy-tale home is modern and comfortable, with all the amenities you need for a restful stay. The full kitchen features modern appliances and a dining area, so creating and enjoying delicious meals at home is easy. The TV room is ideal for movie nights, while a dedicated workspace lets you catch up on work or stay connected while you're away.
The main house has two bright and airy bedrooms, each with a queen beds, flat-screen TVs, end tables, and plenty of closet space. The home features a stunning spiral staircase and tall ceilings but keep in mind the bedrooms are located up a steep flight of stairs, and the bathroom is on the first floor with a tub/shower combo.
The sweet outside casita is in the back of the home and has a double bed, a mirrored closet, flat-screen TV, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Wake up, sit on the front porch swing, and enjoy and morning cup of joe! Or walk into the backyard, and you'll be greeted by the deep glow of string lights that sparkle overhead and a cozy couch creating an enjoyable and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor space has a fire pit and grill, perfect for hosting intimate gatherings with family and friends.
One of the best features of Downtown Dollhouse is its incredible location – you are just a couple of blocks from all the shops and restaurants in downtown Santa Barbara and one mile from the beach and famous Funk Zone for some local wine tasting. So, whether you want to explore the local culture or enjoy a stroll through the streets, you will find something to love in this exciting neighborhood.
There are laundry machines in the unit for your suitability. Please note, this house offers street parking with one parking pass only. If you have more than one vehicle or prefer off-street parking, city lots are available approximately two blocks away.
